Sir Elton John to return to Las Vegas for 3-year gig
April 20th, 2011 - 1:57 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 20 (ANI): It’s official. Sir Elton John will be returning to Las Vegas for a three-year residency at Caesars Palace later this year.
The five-time Grammy winner’s new show ‘The Million Dollar Piano’, to be held at The Colosseum, will start in September, reports the BBC.
Tickets for the first 16 concerts will go on sale on April 25.
John said the venue was the ‘perfect, idyllic place to play’ and promised ‘a gargantuan feast of music’.
He said the show, which begins on 28 September, was named after a ‘fabulous piano’ he would be using that instrument designers had been working on for four years.
John’s return to Las Vegas follows his five-year run at the Colosseum with ‘The Red Piano’ show, which ended in April 2009. (ANI)
