‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),’ by Thaddis Harrell, Beyonce Knowles, Terius Nash & Christopher Stewart win the Grammy for the 
song of the year

Grammy 2010 Los Angeles, Jan 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Grammy Awards 2010 have started, and the Song of the Year was won by “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” which featured Thaddis Harrell, Beyonce Knowles, Terius Nash & Christopher Stewart. Beyonce couldn’t be there to accept the award, as she was preparing for a performance for the awards. She had a record 10 nominations, and she has already won in 1 category so far. She was leading the nominee’s list with the record 10 nominations.

The gorgeous music star Taylor Swift was not far behind Beyonce, with 8 nominations. Then with 6 nominations are Black Eyed Peas, R&B singer Maxwell and rapper Kanye West.

In a pre-telecast ceremony of the 2010 Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga has picked up 2 Grammy awards. She won for Poker Face and also for being the Best Electronic/Dance Album for The Fame. She also has some other nominations lined up, she might pick up some more Grammies as well. Besides her, on the 29th of January, Neil Young was already honored as the 2010 MusiCare Person of the Year, around 2 days prior to the telecast. He is a Canadian singer-songwriter, musician and film director. He is a great musician, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. Sin Frenos La Quinta Estación won an award for the Best Latin Pop.
