A representative of the musical artist has confirmed that Nick Lachey is gearing up to walk down the aisle with his longtime girlfriend television personality Vanessa Minnillo in the near future. The couple are known to have been romantically involved shortly after the “Newlyweds” star called it quits with his former wife Jessica Simpson after the two had been married for a period of three years.

The news that Nick Lachey and the noted television personality have decided to tie the knot and are engaged to each other has been validated by the power couple in a statement that was released to a leading news source. The statement that has been issued read that the pair are extremely excited and incredibly happy about their engagement. At the same time, the couple also added that they are were really looking forward to having a wonderful future with each other. A source close to the couple has revealed to media outlets that Nick Lachey asked his lady love to marry him with a stunning Bader & Garrin’s Asscher-cut diamond with baguettes.

Vanessa Minnillo and the Former 98 Degrees star started dating each other soon after he had split from pop star Jessica Simpson. The former couple tied the knot in the year 2002 but separated three years later citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. However, later Jessica Simpson had accepted that the fact that Nick Lachey started seeing other women so soon after their split had left her furious.
