Singer Natalie Cole to pen memoir
July 20th, 2010 - 1:00 pm ICT by IANSLondon, July 20 (IANS) Singer Natalie Cole will pen all about her kidney transplant surgery and the tragic death of her sister in a new memoir.
The Grammy Award-winning jazz singer is teaming up with author David Ritz for a new book entitled “Love Brought Me Back”.
The 60-year-old, who has struggled with kidney disease, will chronicle the transplant that saved her life last year and the the death of her sister Cookie, which tragically occurred the very day she had the operation.
She will also share memories of her father, late crooner Nat ‘King’ Cole, reports contactmusic.com.
The book is due to hit the shelves in November.
