Aug 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, whose hits include songs like “To All The Girls I’ve Loved Before”, has ultimately tied the knot with his long time partner Dutch model Miranda Rijnsburger. Miranda Rijnsburger and Julio Iglesias were living together for the past twenty years and have parented five children. The news of the marriage was announced by the 66-year-old singer himself who declared it in a statement to a Spanish newspaper. The couple reportedly got married on Tuesday last week.

Miranda Rijnsburger and Julio Iglesias tied the knot in a private ceremony that was held in Marbella, Spain and attended by two witnesses and the couple’s five children who are aged between three and thirteen. As per reports, Julio Iglesias and Miranda Rijnsburger took the sacred vows in the Virgen Del Carmen church of Marbella. The witnesses who attended the ceremony are reportedly the guardians of the family’s property. It seems that the couple wanted to keep their marriage out of the media glare and therefore came out with the news after the ceremony was over. The agent of Julio Iglesias said that the newly-wed couple is already on its honeymoon, and that they have chosen the village of Ojen, that lies not far from Marbella as their honeymoon destination.

While it is the first marriage for 45-year-old Miranda Rijnsburger, it is second one for Julio Iglesias who was previously married to Isabel Preysler. The singer has three children from his previous marriage, of whom singer Enrique Iglesias is one. Julio Iglesias has sold 250 million albums till date and is known for his hits like “Poor Devils”, “Me va, me va”.
