Singer Jae-beom Issues Public Apology

According to the sources, Jae-beom, the front man of the highly popular boy band 2PM has reportedly issued an official apology over the controversial remarks he made on MySpace four years back, which was quite derogatory in its content.
The comment was made when the 22 year old was a singer trainee with the Park Jin-young’s JYP Entertainment.
The singer reportedly issued an official apology when his derogatory comments that he scribbled in a social networking website surfaced after being revealed by his fans. Jae-beom reportedly stated in his controversial statement that, “Korea is gay. I hate Koreans. I wanna comeback.”
The comments made by the popular singer and the front man of the renowned boy band 2PM has reportedly hurt the fans who felt betrayed by the singer. The fans seemed to be bitterly disappointed with such demeaning comments made by Jae-beom who not only abused the fans but the entire nation as well as he said “Korea is gay”.
The mass outrage saw the singer/performer issuing an official apology to all his fans on Saturday.
The singer reportedly said, “I first came to Korea as a high school freshman. I didn’t know much about Korea nor the language and the food was different,” Jae-beom said while issuing public apology. “The comments that I made were emotional expressions of discontent over my situation at that time..I sincerely apologize,” added Jae-beom.
He concluded his statement as he said, “After time has passed, I have wanted to forget the things that I have written in the past. I am so sorry and embarrassed.”
Now it is up to the Korean people whether they will forgive Jae-beom.
