Singer Gibb’s wife pays tribute on funeral
June 10th, 2012 - 3:32 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 10 (IANS) Singer Robin Gibb’s wife Dwina paid tribute to her husband on his funeral by reciting a poem for him.
Gibb, who died May 20 after battling ailments including cancer, was laid to rest in Oxfordshire Saturday, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“My songbird has flown and the world sighs. No music can be heard that is sweeter than the language of his love. My love, my life,” Dwina recited.
Gibb’s three children - Robin John, Mellisa and Spencer were also present at the funeral.
