London, July 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer George Michael was arrested when he crashed his car into a London store. This happened on Sunday morning and the police confirmed the news as well.
According to reports, the singer was returning from a gay pride march, which was held in London. However he then crashed his Range Rover onto the store – Snappy Snaps, which is a photography store.
“Police were called at approximately 3:35am on Sunday 4 July to reports of a vehicle in collision with a building on Hampstead High Street. Officers attended and a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive. He was taken to a north London police station and later bailed pending further inquiries. He will appear in court in August,” according to a Metropolitan Police spokesman.
The store manager – Jun Mustafa said that the shop’s front was damaged in a very bad way. This isn’t the first time that the 47-year-old singer got into trouble with the law over his driving. He was even given a two-year ban in 2007, after an incident involving drugs in 2007. He was also arrested in 2009 for a DUI charge, but was released later.
