Singer Celine Dion is pregnant with twins

Los Angeles, May 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After several unsuccessful attempts, finally there is some good news for singer Celine Dion. She desperately wanted to be a mother another time around and now her wish is being granted. And the cherry on the cake is that, she is pregnant not with one baby, but with twins. Her publicist Kim Jakwerth confirmed the news. Celine Dion already has a 9-year-old son Rene-Charles with her husband Rene Angelil.
According to People, her husband Rene said that, “We’re ecstatic. Céline is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby, and the news that we are having two is a double blessing.”
The 42-year-old singer is currently 14 weeks into her pregnancy.
It ought to be mentioned that Dion has struggled with trying to get pregnant the second time around. The couple’s doctor had also confirmed her second pregnancy in August 2009. Celine Dion was over the moon, and also made the news of the pregnancy public. But later their doctor said that it was a false alarm, as the embryo wasn’t implanted successfully. She was heartbroken but all the same she didn’t lose faith, and kept on trying to conceive a second time around. She has had more than 3 rounds of in-vitro fertilizations, and finally this time around they were successful and she is having twins.
