Singam To Release In US With A Bang

May 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Singam, the much anticipated movie is set to release this Friday in India. And just after a month of its release here, it will be screened in US. Big Cinemas will be releasing this film in almost 24 cities in US.
Well, the combo of Tamil superstar Suriya and “Sun Pictures’, is bound to create magic worldwide. Singam will be the first Tamil movie to be released in the US on such an extraordinarily wide scale. On 28th of June, the movies will be released on more than 30 screens in those 24 cities by Big Cinema. Apparently, 10 of these locations are that of Big Cinemas themselves.
Big Cinemas stated that like all other movies by Hari, Singam is expected to have a perfect blend of emotions, sentiments and comedy. Suriya for whom Singam happens to be his Silver jubilee film, is going to be seen as a cop again after the success of Khaaka Khaaka.
The distributors of the movie have also organized a contest called “Suriya searches for his biggest fan in US’. This contest which started off on May 23 will go on till 7th of June. Reportedly, the superstar himself will be selecting a winner. The winner will get a chance to have a video chat with the actor and also autographed movie merchandise. The winner could win the police uniform or other accessories that Suriya wore in the film.
