New York, Sept 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Sinead O’Connor has assured that she doesn’t intend to carry through with her threat to commit suicide. The 44-year-old posted a suicidal message on her Twitter page last week. The post caused several people to be concerned for the safety of the singer but she says it was her cry for help.

Writing on her personal website this week, O’Connor revealed that, “People who express suicidal feelings are least likely to act on them. Anyone who gives u the remotest bit of shit for expressing suicidal feelings is a wanker.”

Fans of the Irish singer became concerned when she posted that she wanted to go to “Heaven.” The tweet which was posted on the 14th of September followed series of weird posts both on her website and Twitter.

In August, O’Connor declared publicly that she was looking for a partner. After giving the qualities of what she was expecting in the man, O’Connor revealed that she has finally landed the man she is looking for.

Her fans became concerned again when her mood changed in the subsequent weeks that followed that. The suicidal post raised the biggest concern.

O’Connor suffers from bipolar disorder. She is working on her ninth album since she went solo. The album is expected to be released next year.
