Simpson’s father held for drunk driving
August 11th, 2012 - 3:04 am ICT by IANSLos Angeles, Aug 11 (IANS) Singer Jessica Simpson’s father Joe Simpson was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Joe, who is also Jessica’s manager, was suspected to be drunk when police asked him to pull over his car in Sherman Oaks, California, Aug 4, reports tmz.com.
He was handcuffed and police kept him in custody the entire night. He was released from prison the following day.
The case has been handed over to prosecutors in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
