London, May 25 (ANI): Brittany Murphy’s widower Simon Monjack died of “natural causes”, the Los Angeles police said.
The screenwriter was found dead Sunday night by the late actress’ mother, Sharon, in his Hollywood home.
The paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but were unsuccessful.
Police said in an initial report that the death occurred due to natural causes. Monjack reportedly suffered from a heart attack.
They have cleared any possibility of foul play.
“We concluded there are no signs of foul play or any criminal activity involved,” the Telegraph quoted Sgt Alex Ortiz, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, as saying.
Monjack’s actress wife, Murphy, had died in December last year. (ANI)
