Simon Monjack And His Secret Children

June 14, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Simon Monjack, the screenwriter of British origin, is reported to have had two secret children in his life time. He died last month without revealing the existence of his children who were kept secret till his dying day. Apparently, he had also defaulted on the child support payable to the mothers of his hidden children.
His wife Brittany Murphy had no idea about his former relationships before she died five months prior to Simon Monjack. Simon’s mother and brother along with his therapist discovered the facts when they retrieved several e-mails that requested for money. This was unearthed when they were staying with Sharon, who was Brittany’s mother.
The various documents that were retrieved from Monjack’s laptop revealed the existence of two children, a boy and a girl. His lawyer is said to have received $48,000 from him and the evidence also shows a large amount of money being transferred out of the country.
Simon’s family is reportedly helping with the investigation by handing the computer over to the concerned authorities. However, his mother-in-law, Brittany’s mother, has reported the laptop as missing.
Simon Monjack was buried right beside his wife as desired by him. He was 32 years old when he died and had said that both of them would be trying for a family. This was revealed just before Brittany died. The two did not have any children together and both had ardently expressed their wish to have one soon. However, we find that Simon Monjack wasn’t really being truthful where kids were concerned and we certainly hope to learn more about it as the skeletons come tumbling out of the cupboard.
