London, Dec 24 (ANI): Simon Cowell will be celebrating Christmas and dishing out presents to pals as he cruises the Caribbean on his luxury yacht.

Cowell’s friend Topshop boss Sir Philip Green will also join him on board the 625,000pound-a-week beauty, called “Slipstream”.

The duo is believed to discuss their new venture as well as Cowell’s new plans for American X Factor.

The 12-berth yacht boasts of comfy leather sofas, mirrors above a giant waterbed, a Jacuzzi, Wi-Fi, a gym, kayaks, snorkelling gear and jet skis.

“Simon wanted a change of scenery rather than spend another Christmas looking at Michael Winner’s gut at Sandy Lane for dinner,” the Mirror quoted a pal as saying.

The pal added: “And the Slipstream is the ultimate super yacht. He was about to leave Barbados to sail to Grenada where he was meeting Sinitta and her children to give them their presents.

“Then he is off to Antigua for cocktails with Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes. And then Jacqui St Clair is planning to meet up with him when he hits St Barts.”

The insider added; “Simon hates winters in England and has been looking forward to this trip for months. He chose this yacht because of the high spec. It oozes luxury - as soon as he docks the three-storey beast, people will be impressed.

“He could have gone for something more discreet, but that isn’t Simon’s style. He turned 50 this year and decided it would be his Christmas treat to himself.” (ANI)
