London, April 11 (IANS) Music mogul Simon Cowell’s mother is worried about his hectic schedule and has urged him to take it easy.

The 51-year-old is taking talent hunt show “The X-Factor” to the US and will also be appearing in both “Britain’s Got Talent” and “America’s Got Talent”.

Cowell’s mother Julie, 84, is worried about his increasing workload and fears he will suffer a fatal heart attack like his father Eric, who died in 1999 at the age of 81.

“Simon’s mum is freaking out. His family thinks he’s doing too much and are telling him to slow down before his workload seriously damages his health,” quoted a source as saying.

“There’s no point being the richest man in the cemetery. The family are protective of Simon and saw what happened to his father.

“His mum is putting her foot down. He’s got ‘America’s Got Talent’, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘X Factor’ - as well as the new US X Factor and new UK game show ‘Red Or Black’. It’s too much for one person,” the source added.
