Simon Cowell’s mom ‘wants him slow down’ on his workload
April 11th, 2011 - 6:24 pm ICT by ANILondon, Apr 11 (ANI): Music mogul Simon Cowell’s motheris concerned over his heavy workload and has urged him to take it easy.
The 51-year-old X Factor king is taking the hit show to the US while also appearing on both Britain’s and America’s Got Talent and launching a jackpot game show.
But loved ones have pleaded with the heavy smoker to ease up and let others take the strain - or risk suffering a fatal heart attack like his beloved father Eric.
Frantic mum Julie, 84, led the calls when she learned of Cowell’s packed upcoming diary, according to a source close to the star.
“Simon’s mum is freaking out. His family think he’s doing too much and are telling him to slow down before his workload seriously damages his health,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
“There’s no point being the richest man in the cemetery.
“The family are protective of Simon and saw what happened to his father.
“His mum is putting her foot down. He’s got America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor - as well as the new US X Factor and new UK game show Red Or Black.
“It’s too much for one person,” the source added. (ANI)
