Simon Cowell ‘turned down sex judging offer’
April 7th, 2011 - 9:18 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Simon Cowell has revealed that an unnamed rich man offered him $150,000 to judge the man’s sex skills with his wife. The former American Idol judge revealed that he turned down the offer.
During his conversation with CNN’s Pierce Morgan, Cowell said just after he hit the limelight with his judging skills on the American Idol show, the man approached him and made the offer. Years later, Cowell looks back at the day and says maybe it was not such a good idea to turn the offer down.
Cowell told Morgan that it would have been highly interesting watching the man have sex with his wife and get paid for it. He even went ahead to joke that, “If you’re watching, I’ll even do it for $50k less - we’ll do a deal,” addressing the man.
Cowell admitted that he genuinely regret not accepting the offer. He explained that he turned down the offer because it looked ridiculous to him then. He said that, “[The man] was taking it quite seriously and I knew I would laugh. I just thought, “No this is too crazy”, but I genuinely regret it now.”
