London, January 21 (ANI): TV mogul Simon Cowell has decided to record a charity single for victims of the Haiti earthquake under the special instruction of British President Gordon Brown.
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has also signed up for the project.
“We are going to do a single. I’ve got to get it together in 48 hours. I wanted to do something for Haiti and we had a request from the Prime Minister to put a record together,” the Telegraph quoted Cowell as saying.
He added: “We’re going to attempt to do something in a very short space of time. And Cheryl has said she’s on board.”
Sir Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams may be lined for the cause too. (ANI)
