Simon Cowell takes his own beer to restaurants
December 7th, 2009 - 2:23 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington, December 07 (ANI): Media mogul Simon Cowell keeps a crate of beer in his car all the time in case he goes to a restaurant and they don’t have the brand he drinks.
The ‘American idol’ host prefers special yeast-free Sapporo beer, after he learnt brewer’s yeast made him sluggish through a food intolerance test.
“I’ve got a crate of it in the back of the car. Literally,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
On being asked why he didn’t feature on advertising posters for his shows, ‘The X Factor’ and ‘American Idol’, he replied: “Have I got grey hair? If I have they weren’t there six months ago. And if I have got grey hair I’m not going to be on any billboards.” (ANI)
