London, July 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Music mogul Simon Cowell has been sued for $3.8 million by a British contestant. Cowell was allegedly sued for “injured feelings, exploitation, humiliation, degradation, and barbarism”

Emma Amelia Pearl Czikai is accusing Cowell of bringing shame on her with regards to the TV show, which was aired in May 2009. She first reported the unfair accusations against Cowell in a British labor tribunal in January 2010.

Czikai acted in her own defense in the trial and lodged a complaint against the show and its judges for of “exploitation, humiliation, degradation and barbarism.”

She also said her disabilities were ignored by the show who didn’t consider them when handing out duties to her. She said the show only made millions for a few people while the rest were exploited and humiliated.

Czikai is a former nurse who said that she’s suffering from cervical spine neuritis, which brings high levels of pain to her head and shoulders. This also affected her singing, according to her statement. “This program makes a select number of rich people very, very rich on the backs of the ordinary man and woman in the street through exploitation, humiliation, degradation and a re-emergence of modern-day barbarism with all its inherent cruelty,” according to Emma Amelia Pearl Czikai.

She’s now praying that the court would award her $3.9 million for her hurt feelings and the subsequent loss of earnings.
