Simon Cowell set to get a knighthood

London, May 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There are reports that Simon Cowell is all set to get a knighthood. Former Prime Minister of Britain – Gordon Brown had recommended his name for the honor. He had chosen Simon because of his charitable causes, and most notably in particular for ‘Everybody Hurts’, which helped, to raise a lot of money for the victims of the earthquake ravaged Haiti.
According to sources, “Gordon Brown was very keen for Simon to get proper recognition for his work. He was particularly impressed by the way Simon responded to his suggestion to release the record for Haiti by dropping everything to ensure it was a success. And there’s no doubt Simon has brought as great deal of happiness to millions of people with his music and TV shows.”
Simon’s friends also say that he certainly deserves the honor. They feel that it would be a nice achievement for Simon, and it would certainly spur him to achieve towards more professional success. It is a very lesser known fact that Simon has also donated millions for a number of charitable causes, and he has also helped many people economically also, by creating jobs for them.
