Simon Cowell named king of TV

Cowell was given the accolade by telly bible Broadcast.
Broadcast said that “2009 ended with only one man controlling TV” as Cowell’s shows Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor dominated audiences’ minds throughout the year, reports The Daily Star.
The magazine said: “Joe McElderry may have triumphed in the 2009 X Factor, but there’s no disputing who was the biggest winner.”
