Simon Cowell: ‘I think Cheryl Cole misses me’
January 25th, 2012 - 10:36 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Jan 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Music guru Simon Cowell has stated that he has no doubt British singer Cheryl Cole could join the X Factor show. The 52-year-old returned to Britain to supervise another music talent show Britain’s Got Talent.
The former American Idol judge interacted with fans at Blackpool. Cowell was forced to address his relationship with Cole. The two were initially close but media reports say since Cole was fired immediately after she was hired for a role in the US X Factor show, the two have not spoken to each other.
Speaking to The Sun, Cowell cheekily said that, “’I think she (Cheryl) probably misses me.”
He revealed that the first time that the pair spoke to each other after the X Factor US issue was on his birthday when the former Girls Aloud star tweeted him a message. He said they have since been chatting with each other.
Cole and Cowell were both judges on the UK version of the X Factor Show. With the launch of the US version of the show, Cole resigned from her role in the United Kingdom and embarked on a mission to get on the US version of the show. She was eventually handed the job but fired just four days later.
