Simon Cowell hires psychologists for ‘Britain’s Got Talent’
April 15th, 2010 - 3:06 am ICT by IANSLondon, April 15 (IANS) TV host Simon Cowell is hiring a team of psychologists to help “Britain’s Got Talent” contestants cope with fame and failure.
“Susan Boyle proved to be TV gold but, ultimately, Cowell is concerned about welfare of the contestants. All sorts of people have auditioned for this series and none come from showbiz backgrounds. Cowell’s put-downs are legendary and sometimes people take them to heart and get upset. Cowell wants to make responsible television and, this time around, is taking no chances,” mirror.co.uk reported quoting a source.
Last year, “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant Susan Boyle lost and ended up suffering a nervous breakdown, the source added.
