Simon Cowell has officially quit The X Factor
April 18th, 2011 - 3:22 pm ICT by ANILondon, Apr 18 (ANI): Music mogul Simon Cowell has officially quit The X Factor.
ITV bosses confirmed that Cowell, 51, will not be a judge on the 2011 X Factor series as he is busy launching a US version of the show.
But it is likely that he will be involved with the live UK finals later this year.
“We have been in negotiations with Simon about ways in which we can help The X Factor evolve. He will be an enormous presence backstage as always,” the Daily Star quoted ITV chief Peter Fincham as saying. (ANI)
