simon New York City, July 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Music mogul and former American idol judge, Simon Cowell appeared in an exclusive interview with “Extra’s” Terri Seymour and he confirmed the rumors that his friend Piers Morgan may be replacing Larry King at CNN.

Cowell said “[Morgan] was under contract to us on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ so he called me and we helped sort of broker the deal. I knew about this weeks ago.” There has been no public confirmation about Morgan’s appointment, but the music mogul believes in Morgan’s interviewing skills.
