Simon Cowell accused of discrimination
June 10th, 2010 - 2:18 pm ICT by IANSLos Angeles, June 10 (IANS) A contestant on “Britain’s Got Talent” has filed a legal complaint against music mogul Simon Cowell, accusing him of discrimination against her.
The show producers invited Emma Czikai, who is suffering from cervical spine neuritis, to appear on the Britain’s spin-off programme “Britain’s Got More Talent”. She agreed on the condition that they will make it clear she is physically not fit, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Czikai now claims that the bosses of the show failed to make it clear when the show aired and had fun at her expense and prompting her to file an official complaint with Britain Employment Tribunal officials.
Executives at Cowell’s production company, Syco and Freemantle Media have also been named in the complaint. A pre-hearing review is due to take place in July.
