Silambarasan becomes too romantic
December 10th, 2009 - 5:57 pm ICT by Sampurn WireActor Silambarasan has completely turned his focus from action-packed films to breezy romantic entertainers. As a matter of fact, the actor decided not to take up action-films seeing the disappointing box-office result of his films ‘Kaalai’ and ‘Silambattam’.
The actor has now completed shooting for Gowtham Menon’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’, which is slated to hit the screens in January 2010. Earlier, Silambarasan had plans about shooting ‘Poda Podi’ with Sarath Kumar’s daughter Varalakshmi in female lead. Suddenly, the project was shelved and Simbhu will start filming ‘Vaaliban’ that is produced by SS Chakravarthy of Nic Arts.
The heroine for this film is yet to be confirmed and Yuvan Shankar Raja is tuning melodies. Silambarasan states that ‘Valiban’ is inspired from his real life one-sided love.
