Siddique To Remake Bodyguard With Salman Khan

July 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The season of remake is still on in Indian film industry as more films are simultaneously getting remade in various regional languages. Salman Khan’s yesteryear blockbuster Wanted was a remake of Telugu movie Pokkiri. All the three versions in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi happen to be carrying record-breaking collections at box office.
Similarly, Salman Khan is now busy remaking Telugu movie Ready that successfully completed 175 Days in many theatres of Hyderabad. The film is already remade in Tamil as Utthamaputhiran and is scheduled to hit screens by next month. Utthamaputhiran features Dhanush and Genelia D’ Souza in lead roles. Salman Khan is already shooting for this film along with Asin in Sri Lanka.
And now, there is interesting news. Malayalam filmmaker Siddique will remake his Bodyguard in Hindi with Salman Khan. The Tamil remake titled Kaaval Kadhal is already close on the heels of completion and it features Vijay and Asin in lead roles. Although, it was considered as an unconfirmed buzz before, the sources closer to Siddique have confirmed about this Hindi remake taking off soon after Sallu completes Ready.
On the pars, Bollywood’s successful film 3 Idiots is simultaneously remade in Tamil and Telugu by Shankar.
