Siddharth’s Striker premiers on You Tube
January 30th, 2010 - 7:19 pm ICT by Sampurn WireIn an initiative taken by Studio18, The Indian Film Company and the producers of the film, Striker starring Siddharth of Rang De Basanti fame has taken its premier one step ahead in terms of technology and promises to showcase it on You Tube. The premiere has been scheduled on the date of its Indian theatrical release that is February 5, 2010.
This move has opened doors for high quality and on demand option for watching the latest Bollywood film. In the US, Striker will be available for rent on YouTube. Outside the US, Striker will be available for free on Studio18’s YouTube channel. In order to ensure that the revenues from the Indian theatrical release are maximised, the movie will be not be available for the YouTube traffic originating from India.
Along with Siddharth, Anupam Kher, Aditya Panscholi; Vidya Malavade would be seen in pivotal roles. The film has been been directed by Chandan Arora, whose previous ventures, Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh and Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon had been critically acclaimed.
