Sid Owen to join Celeb Big Brother?
August 12th, 2011 - 11:20 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Aug 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Daily Star has reported that EastEnders actor Sid Owen will join the stars on Celebrity Big Brother. Channel 5 has already confirmed that Tara Reid, Pamela Anderson and TOWIE star Amy Childs will all be part of the show which is expected to be launched next week.
According to the newspaper’s report, Owen made some deep thought about joining the show and only decided on the deadline to be on the show. This though will not be the first time that Owen will be on a reality television show.
In 2005, the star was part of the contestants on the show “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” He ended up in the final placing third after the show. He plays the role of Ricky Butcher in EastEnders.
Celebrity Big Brother is opened to only celebrities. It was developed from the show Big Brother which for years was the number one reality show in the United Kingdom.
The next season of Celebrity Big Brother will start on the 18th of August. The show is exclusive to Channel 5 in the United Kingdom and it will be aired on the network from next Friday.
