Shweta Agarwal -the new girl on the block will be debuting in Vikram Bhatt’s next horror film “Shaapit’ opposite Aditya Narayan (son of veteran singer Udit Narayan). Saying she is thrilled to be working with her mentor Vikram Bhatt, Shweta chirps, “I’m thrilled that my first launch into Bollywood is being guided by my mentor Vikram Bhatt.”

Produced under the banner of ASA Productions and Enterprises, “Shaapit’ is a horror flick with an underlying love story. Vikram Bhatt is known to give his audiences reason to sit on the edge of their seats and we are sure “Shaapit’ won’t disappoint! Shweta Agarwal plays a young girl “Kaaya’ who is trapped in a generational curse making life miserable.

Recently when she celebrated her birthday Vikram Bhatt decided to give her a gift that will stay with her for a lifetime– he showed her the first rushes of the film. Says an elated Shweta, “It was quite challenging for me to do this film, as I find it difficult to sit through horror flicks-ironically my big Bollywood debut is a horror movie!”

Apparently Vikram Bhatt is very pleased with his discovery and has been singing her praises ever since the first shot which was crucial for the film. Reveals a production source, “The first ever shot Shweta gave had all of us on the sets moved. She really wowed everyone with her performance. Vikram Bhatt even went ahead and told her that he was touched!”

Looks like Shweta can be hopeful to bag many more films from the Bhatt camp!
