Shutter Island‘Shutter Island’ is known to be one of the best movies of 2010 starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It is an American psychological mystery thriller film and is directed by Martin Scorsese. This is the fourth film of Martin Scorsese and Leonardo Dicaprio together.

The plot of the movie is set in early 1950s when a lunatic criminal runs away from prison. Leonardo DiCaprio plays the role of a U.S. Marshal, named Edward Teddy Daniels who is appointed for investigating the case of this missing criminal in ‘Shutter Island’. The movie ‘Shutter Island’ is based on Dennis Lehane’s 2003 novel. The ending of the movie completely changes the mind of the viewers when the reality and insanity amalgamates. The director makes it a point to keep the audience glued to the seats.

The name of the movie is justified as the protagonist of the movie is related to ‘Shutter Island’. The atmosphere of mystery and thriller makes the movie interesting.
