Shriya Charan Pins Hopes On ‘Chikku Bhukku’

June 8, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actress Shriya Charan hasn’t been doing really well with her film career. Almost all her films, both in Kollywood and Bollywood, have bombed at the box office. Only the magnum opus “Sivaji – The Boss’ managed to salvage her pride somewhat. Now with her upcoming film “Chikku Bhukku’ being all set for release next month, Shriya Charan is excited to say the least.
Says Shriya Charan: “This will be a completely different film and I have performed a unique role laced with romance and comedy. The complete film revolves around me and Aarya and Bollywood actress Amrita Rao’s sister Preethi performs a cameo here.’
The actress has been a part of Deepa Mehta’s international film “Cooking with Stella’ that has won international recognition and is now trying to get an Indian release as well.
Well, about the other rumors pertaining to her other project “Rowdram’ with Jeeva, Shriya Charan says that she hasn’t signed the project yet and no one has approached her so far.
