Shreya Narayan to lead in Star’s version of ‘Afterlife’

March 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Telugu film’s well known actress Shreya Narayan who is also seen in Sony’s Powder has bagged the lead role in Star Plus’s Desi version of Afterlife (British television drama), produced by BBC. The show is thriller based on paranormal behavior and is gearing up to launch post IPL.
Source informs, “Shreya has been finalized to play lead role in BBC production show whose title has not yet fixed. But the show is about a girl who is a psychic with paranormal powers. And she has super natural powers to communicate with ghosts and will be aided by a cop to come out of her mental problems.”
“A buzz is that Rahil Azam who was lately seen in Sahara One’s “Mr. and Mrs. Mishra’ has been tipped to play lead role of that cop who will help the girl to recover from her difficulties.” adds source.
We called Rahil Azam and he says, “Yes, something like that has been in negotiated with me. But as I have some more things in my hand, I have not yet decided which one to take and which one to let go. Actually, it is very early stage to say anything regarding this but as soon as I finalize something, I will let you know.”
