Shotgun to play NT Rama Rao in Ramu’s next

Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra is making news. The director has roped in Shatrughan Sinha to play NT Rama Rao in the movie after announcing that Vivek Oberoi will play the lead role, based on Paritala Ravindra who had a serious criminal record, but still contested and won elections after getting a ticket from the Telugu Desam Party.
Ram Gopal Varma feels that to play NT Rama Rao, they needed an impressive personality and Shatrughan Sinha fulfils that requirement. The film will be made in both Hindi and Telugu. Mohan Babu will be playing NT Rama Rao in the Telugu version and the film will start shooting soon in Hyderabad.
