Shooting ends for Hindi Pokkiri
March 25th, 2009 - 12:11 pm ICT by Sampurn WireProducers seem to play safe and invest their money in the films which has already been liked by the audiences and this banking on remakes. Mahesh Babu starrer Pokkiri was appreciated highly and did a good business at the box office. Seeing its success, Prabhu Deva and Vijay instantly decided to cash on it and remade the Telugu version of the flick which was directed by Puri Jaganath. But this was not the end as Salman Khan and producer Boney Kapoor got highly impressed with the film and decided to remake it in Hindi. Ayesha Takia is the actress while Mahesh Manjrekar and Vinod Khanna would also be seen playing important. The shooting of the flick has gotten over and it would really be interesting to see whether the flick yet again proves to be lucky for the producer or not. - Sampurn Media
