Shirish Kunder to start film editing classes (Movie Snippets)

Farah Khan New Delhi, Sep 23 (IANS) Film editor-turned-director Shirish Kunder says he will soon begin film editing classes.

“I will soon be starting a film editing course. Will be teaching myself. Affordable to everyone and super quick,” Kunder posted on Twitter.

“My approach in teaching film editing is not only to promote this art but also to make it available and affordable to everyone,” he added.

The 38-year-old, who is married to choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, has edited films like “Main Hoon Na” and “Om Shanti Om”. His debut directorial movie “Jaan-E-Mann” released in 2006, and now he is busy working on his second directorial “Joker”, featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.

‘Andaz Apna Apna’ animated version hilarious: Raveena

Raveena Tandon, who featured as one of the leading ladies in 1994 comedy “Andaz Apna Apna”, was left in splits when she read the story of the new, animated version of the film.

“Just to give you all a little news! As you all know the animated version of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ is going to be made, called ‘Andaz Naya Naya’, heard the story…it is going to be super hilarious film!” Raveena wrote on Twitter.

iRock Media is making the animated feature on the movie, which also featured Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Shakti Kapoor, who played crime master Gogo.

“With grand (crime) master Gogo’s ghagra and Raveena from london! Amar prem as Amar Prem! Sounded super! That’s all I can say! Rest soon to follow,” she added.

Shahid glad with ‘favourite actor’ Hrithik’s compliment

Shahid Kapoor has garnered a lot of praise for his work in “Mausam” but he is more than glad with actor Hrithik Roshan’s feedback on his work.

After watching the premiere of “Mausam” in Mumbai Thursday night, Hrithik tweeted: “‘Mausam’ is a film made from the heart for the heart. @shahidkapoor needs a flaw! perfect combination of strength and sensitivity. Sonam looks ethereal and simply honest! wonderful moments…beautiful journey! Bravo!”

Shahid couldn’t have been happier with Hrithik’s response.

“@iHrithik you are far too kind @iHrithik…Coming from my favourite actor of this generation means a lot man…Thank you for your generosity,” wrote Shahid, who plays an air force officer in the romance drama directed by his father, veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor.
