Khandala, Nov 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A very Bollywood-ish wedding is on the cards today for the Bollywood actress and winner of the Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, Shilpa Shetty and her UK based businessman fiancée Raj Kundra in Khandala today. According to sources the wedding is going to be a very formal and private affair. The crowds and the film industry are expected in the lavish reception, which is to be held on 24th November.

Her sangeet and mehendi ceremony were an extravagant affairs too. At her sangeet ceremony the bride-to-be danced her way to everybody’s hearts on the song ‘Mere hatho main nau nau chudiyaa hai’. She is an accomplished dancer so it was obviously not a surprise at all. However the surprise was her beau, Raj Kundra who also set the stage on fire with his Michael Jackson’s moves. The sangeet ceremony ended at 2:30 am in the morning. However the sad part was that, Shilpa’s father Surendra Shetty was absent from the ceremony. It is learnt that he is unwell, so he couldn’t attend the ceremony.

The Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehendi was also responsible for making the party rock, with his hit numbers one after the other.

According to latest reports, the groom has left for the wedding, clad in a maroon sherwani with golden embroidery. He was also sporting a turban with his face veiled by a sehra (string of flowers) along with a sword in his hand. The wedding venue is Kiran Bawa’s Khandala bungalow. Kiran Bawa is Shilpa’s friend and business partner.
