Mar 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Recently, Shia LaBeouf mentioned during an interview in a prominent magazine the details about the hand injury that he had suffered two years back, in 2008. At that point of time, the pictures of the injured hand had achieved a viral status in the internet, being circulated like something of a rage. Needless to say, the once suppressed topic is back with a bang after the interview got published, and net surfers have once more turned to the internet to refresh their memory of the gruesome injury. According to the reports provided by the actor, he had brought up the long forgotten topic only to clarify the misconceptions that had been created post the accident.

In the article, Shia LaBeouf clarifies the incident, asserting that it had nit been his fault at all, and that he had been hit while he had been trying to get through a green light. Apparently, according to the statements given by the actor, he had been hit by another driver who had been trying to pass a red light, and then hit the truck Shia LaBeouf was driving, resulting in the injury.

However, the incident had drawn some criticism from the sister of Kim Kardashian, who had reported that the accident was caused mostly due to the rash driving of the injured driver. Apparently, the topic was brought up in the interview mainly to make it clear that the reports that had circulated regarding the incident were mostly false, and that the conclusions drawn by Khloe Kardashian had been wrong too. In the interview, Shia LaBeouf mentions that he had been terribly upset about the coverage that the accident got.
