Los Angeles, June 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is some real disappointing news for all the fans of “She’s the Man” star Amanda Bynes as the young actress has decided to retire from her acting career. The 24 year old actress made the rather startling revelation through a social networking site on Saturday where she stated that the main reason which had propelled her to take the decision of retiring was the fact that she was not in love with acting any more.
In her post in the micro-blogging site Twitter, Amanda Bynes revealed that the job of an actress is not as exciting and fun as it might apparently seem. The young actress went on to say that acting isn’t something that she really loves any longer owing to which she has taken the decision to bid adieu to her acting career.
At the same time, the “She’s the Man” star also noted that 24 was too young an age to withdraw from her career as an actress, but emphasized that she is calling it quits as far as acting is concerned. Meanwhile, if Amanda Bynes is indeed serious about her retirement plans then her last flick is going to be “Easy A” which is scheduled to hit theatres later this year.
Amanda Bynes first rose to fame by hosting the show “The Amanda Show” on Nickelodeon. After a number of successful stints in television, the actress finally ventured into the large screen and starred in various well acclaimed flicks such as “She’s the Man,” in the year 2006.
This was followed by the Adam Shankman directed movie “Hairspray” which released in 2007.
