Dec 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Shelley Malil has been sentenced to lifetime imprisonment for a brutal murder attempt on his ex-girlfriend Kendra Bebee. Reportedly, he was too upset to see his ex-girlfriend sharing liquor with another man in her San Diego home. The “Old Virgin” actor could not keep his cool and stabbed her twenty times with a kitchen knife. Somehow, the lady survived and filed a case against him.

During the trial, she said that she went through a primal, instinctual, animal fear, when she saw the man approaching her with his hand behind him. Then she saw a flash of silver in his hand, that straight went through her skin three times consecutively. He then followed the process about 20 times and left her with 40 lacerations. By the end, Kendra Bebee punctured her lungs and had several injuries in her neck, back, arms and chest, while she was trying to defend herself against the barbaric encounter. She explained how brutal he was while trying to kill her. She looked into his eyes persuading him to stop, while she was running out of breathe. On the other hand, Shelley Malil tried to defend himself saying that he was trying to stab the man, but somehow it affected the lady. However, the court did not believe him. Kendra Bebee called Shelley Malil a bad actor, and he failed to lie convincingly in his defense.

Prosecutor Keith Watanabe said that the actor may be eligible for a parole after twelve years, but if he conducts himself with a good behavior, then he night be released in nine years too. Shelley Malil was also charged with residential burglary, as the night before the crime, he stranded Kendra Bebee in a beach and stole certain items from her home, that included marijuana.
