Shelby Dressel Bids Goodbye To “American Idol”

Feb 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amidst the raging Olympics fever, Fox had to make sure that it gets high ratings. The last episode of “American Idol” was 2 hours long. According to sources, the show could have easily been broadcast with all the details in less than an hour. The episode started with the remaining 71 contestants. The contestants were split in 3 rooms. Half of the “American Idol” show was a flashback which reminded us once again about the contestants’ earlier performances and their private lives. Shelby Dressel, who shared the room with Didi Benami and Lacey Brown, could not make it to the top from the pool of 46.
Shelby Dressel, who had appeared in the Orlando audition is a waitress. Her facial muscles are partly paralyzed. However, when she starts singing all her facial flaws vanishes. The listener completely gets mesmerized by her voice. Not only her voice, but her personality is also very pleasant. She seems to be a humble person. Unfortunately, her dreams of being the next “American Idol” is completely shattered. The judges made their decision on the first night of the two-night special of the season 9 of “American Idol” Top 24.
The fans were upset on learning that the promising and pleasant girl Shelby Dressel has to leave the show and go home. Though she could make it to the top 24, she will continue working toward her dream of becoming a great singing sensation. Along with Shelby Dressel, Jessica Furney, who was outed in the Hollywood Week in the last season but tried to make a comeback this year could not make it to the to 24 as well.
