Shekhar Suman must be tagged as the best daddy by Adhyayan, as he is all powered up to promote his son. Recently on the sets of Dekh India Dekh, he was busy seen talking to reporters about his son’s upcoming flick Jashn.

“It’s very important film of his career. He is 20 years old and is playing the character of a 24 year old. His role required the special kind of emotional strength and I was apprehensive that he would not be able to carry it off, but he pleasantly surprised me with his performance,” states Shekhar.

Jashn is all set for release on 17 July. “The character needed that kind of maturity and I doubted he had that, as he is far too young; but the way he has handled the role is one out of million,” adds the proud papa.

“When I watched him in the film, I couldn’t believe that he could handle such sensitive and intense role. We are very hopeful about this film and even the music has top rated on the chart buster,” he converse.

He has also given advice to his son on how he is supposed to go ahead in this industry. “I told Adhyayan that for an actor it shouldn’t be the question of life and death. He just needs to work hard and leave the fate of the film on audience. The hard work will definitely show its colours,” observed Shekhar.

He also talked about their personal rapport. “We are more like friends than just father-son. I do advice him on his career and personal life whenever he asks for,” he concludes.
