March 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Sheela, who debuted in Malayalam films with the Mammootty starrer Mayabazaar, wasn’t able to have a successful run in the industry. The movie failed miserably and did nothing for her career. She will now try her luck again with the Prithviraj starrer Thanthonny.

Prithviraj plays a wild youth from a rich family in Thanthonny, which is directed by George Varghese. Sheela’s character is that of a junior scientist who falls in love with Prithvi’s character. She plays a tomboyish character but also has a few glamorous sequences. She has a lot of expectations riding on this movie and hopes it works out, establishing her as a bankable actress in Malayalam films.
