Feb 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The third season of the show “Shear Genius” proved to be a hit with the viewers, as expected. The third season premiered on Bravo. There have been some changes to the show including the host, set and contestants. This is likely to give the viewers a feeling of refreshment. However, Camila Alves is charming as ever and she fits in the shoes of Jaclyn Smith perfectly. The focus is on the famous hairstylist Jonathan Antin who owns two famous salons in Los Angeles. He has been selected as the judge and this has made the candidates somewhat apprehensive. The show’s third season went on air on Feb 3rd 2010. There are a dozen participants who would fight it out in the third season of the show.

On the first episode of the third season, the candidates introduced themselves to the viewers. Interestingly the contestants hail from various parts of the world. They have experiences of working with really high profile clients. Some of them have their own salons as well. So, one can expect it to be a close fight for the top slot in this season of the show.

The third season will not be much different from the predecessors in terms of challenges. There will be a short cut as well as an elimination challenge. The expectation of the viewers has been running high since Jonathan Antin has been included as the judge. He is quite popular and it is likely that a lot of viewers would flock to the show only to see him.
