On July 30, Thursday, singing sensation Shakira premiered her latest and much awaited song’s video on MTV.com. The song, “She Wolf” was out on the circuit on the MTV website at 8 p.m. and since then have absolutely stunned the viewers, who just can’t seem to have enough of Shakira and her new song.

In the song Shakira gets one with the “She-Wolf” in her and her use of such terms as “Lycanthropy” (which in folklore implies the magical ability to assume the form and the characteristics of a wolf) renders the song an unique feel; a certain factor that it is not going to be very easily forgotten.

An absolute virgin concept in the history of the pop culture is that part of the lyrics of the song in which Shakira compares herself to a coffee machine. It is the first time that has been done so in any song. The chorus also one of the most highlighting part of the song and it finds Shakira howling to the moon, akin to a wolf.

The song makes brilliant use of every Italian disco tune that have been recorded in 1979, all active amalgamation of jazzy beats, funky bass, loud horns, snares and also hand-claps. It is certainly one of the more influencing songs of the year 2009 till now.

The only thing that can be said for now is that the fans are sure to either like it a lot or hate it for its “different flavors.” Shakira’s new album is supposed to hit the stores in October. For now, it looks like Shakira is back once more, with all the right tunes.
