Nov.11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This week, the elimination round of the reality show ‘Biggest Loser‘ eliminated two members of the same team. Shay Shauntina Sorrels [age 29 years] got eliminated from the show along with another ‘Black Team‘ member, Daniel Wright [age 20 years]. When she had come to the show, she weighed 476 pounds and now she is 376 pounds. Wright did not lose much weight after coming to the show and was eliminated as the ‘least-losing’ participant of this week. Sorrels had lost one hundred pounds after coming to the ‘Biggest Loser’. It is a great achievement for Sorrells but that could not save her from getting eliminated while three weeks are only left for the finale of the show.

Though Shay Sorrels failed to proceed to the finale episode of the show, she has become successful in losing extra flab from her body and this would help her in different ways. She is a social worker, whose work is to motivate clients and increase their mental strength. Her clients consider her to be an example and by losing weight she would be able to motivate her clients in a better way. Sorrels is a full-time social worker and is also engaged in three other jobs [part time]. Apart from this, she has an internship and losing weight will help her execute her daily jobs in a better manner.

Shay Sorrels was overweight from her childhood and considered that her eating habits, stress and emotions increased her weight. By losing weight and getting into shape, she considers that she would be able to live a healthy life with her family, that includes her stepsons and husband.
