May 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) While many actors and actresses in Hollywood resort to cosmetic surgery or plastic surgery to give their figure a boost and retain the touches of youth, Sharon Stone prefers to be different. The ultimate seductress onscreen, who scorched the hearts of millions with her dare bare portrayals in Basic Instinct way back in the 1990s, has confessed in a recent interview that she does not want to undergo plastic surgery in future. She has acted in a number of Hollywood blockbusters and the viewers have admired her top notch performance as much as they have wondered at her well toned body that can give many younger actresses a run for their money still.

However, it would be wrong to assume that she never opted for plastic surgery in her life. On the contrary her experience with it and its after effects on the body has left her quite bitter. After she divorced her spouse Phil Bronstein, the San Francisco newspaper editor in 2004 the actress became somewhat insecure about her figure and looks. She did opt for a lip surgery in a bid to make her lips appear fuller. The result was far from what she actually wanted. The actress was saddened to see that her lips did not match after the surgery and in her own words they made her resemble a trout. That was when she vowed never to opt for plastic surgery again in her life.

However, Sharon Stone has also made it clear that inspire of aging she will not alter her style. The 52 year old actress still has the charisma in her and maintains that she will continue to wear bikinis.
